Manuel Francisco Herrera has joined the Ministry of Defense
Manuel Francisco Herrera (International Relations, class of 2017) has recently joined the
Ministry of Defense as an analyst for the General Secretariat for Security Policy in the Coordination and Studies of Security and Defense Division within the area of geopolitical analysis.
Previously, Herrera has worked in the Nuclear Safety Program of the Institute of Peace and Conflict Studies in New Delhi, where he carried out research and administration tasks to publish opinion-based information and strategic analysis of the policies of nuclear safety and non-proliferation.
The
alumni is an international security analyst and an EU foreign and security policy expert, in particular, concerning the European non-proliferation policy. In addition, he has worked for Article 30, United Explanations, Argus Magazine, and the Generalitat de Catalunya.
